AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PRESTON CHEMICAL COMPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF SODA ASH BRIQUETTES AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Preston Chemical Company, in the
amount of $5.67, for Aoda Ash Briquettes, in 100 pound net bags
at $5.67 cwt, includine Kentucky Sales Tax be accepted.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase
of the items set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall he in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
