HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 93, No Resolution Number93 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF STEIN BROS. & BOYCE TO ACT AS FISCAL AGENTS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, IN CONNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF MUNICIPAL CORPORATION REVENUE BONDS FOR FUNDS TO SUPPLEMENT THE BUILDING AND EQUIPPING OF THE NEW CITY HALL BUILDING BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the proposal of Stein Bros. & Boyce to act as Fiscal Agents of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in connection with the issuance and sale of Municipal Corporation Revenue Bonds for funds to supplement the building and equipping of the new City Hall building, be accepted, such proposal being in words and figures as follows: "June 20, 1963 "Mayor Robert C. Cherry and Members of City Commission Paducah, Kentucky Re: City Hall Financing Gentlemen: "In accordance with previous conversation with City Attorney Warren Middleton on the above captioned subject, we agree to employ acceptable recognized municipal bond counsel and assume other related expenses incident to the issuance of $200,000 or more of Municipal Corporation Revenue Bonds to supplememt other available funds for the building and equipping of our new City Hall for a fee of one percent of the principal amount of bonds so sold at public sale. "The notice of bond sale will provide that the City may reject any or all bids. The fiscal fee will be earned and payable when the bonds are actually sold and delivered and may be paid out of the proceeds of the issue. "The terms of prior redemption provisions of the bonds are to be mutually agreed upon.
