HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 92, No Resolution Number92 / A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE CENTRAL FIRE STATION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WHEREAS the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is the owner of certain land and improvements known as Central Fire Station situated on the south side of Kentucky Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street, and WHEREAS such property is within the boundary of what is known as Project Ky. R-30 Downtown Civic Center, and WHEREAS the Regional Director of Urban Renewal of Housing and Home Finance Agency of the. United States has requested a Resolution indicating the intention of the City of Paducah to retain such property for an indeterminable period of time except for the above set out proposed project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby certify that it was the intention of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to retain the present Central Fire Station located on the south side of Kentucky Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street in said city for an indeterminable period of time except for the proposed redevelopment project known as Project Ky. R-30 Downtown Civic Center. SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
