AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTORS, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) GARWOOD PACKER AND FORD CHASSIS
FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of KinF-Woodall Motors, Inc. for the
sale to the City of one (1) 1966 Model C-750 Ford Truck and one (1)
16 cubic yard Garwood Packer Body, having the specifications contained
in the bid of said Kine -Woodall Motors, Inc. under date of April 8,
1966, in the amount of $10,081.83, less trade-in of one (1) 1956
International Cab and Chassis with 12 cubic yard Pak Mor Body in the
amount of $819.99, making the net cost to the City of $9,261.84, be
accepted.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of
said chassis and packer described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
