AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF QUALITY FENCE COMPANY FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF BACKSTOPS AT BLACKBURN PARK AND BROOKS PARK, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid.of Quality Fence Company for the
construction of backstops at Blackburn Park and Brooks Park in
Paducah, Kentucky, according to specifications set out in the Reso-
lution adopted on March 22, 1966 by the Board of Commissioners,
for the advertisement for bids, and as set out in the bid of said
Quality Fence Company under date of April 6, 1966, in the amount of
$1,700.00 for the Blackburn Park backstop and $650.00 for the Brooks
Park backstop, making the total of $2,350.00, be accepted.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City of Paducah,
Kentuckv for the construction of the backstops authorized in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for at least pne (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
