AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MILAM MOTORCYCLE SHOP FOR
THE SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) NEW v7ESTCOASTER TRAFFIC -MASTER 765
3 -WHEEL POLICE VEHICLES,AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Milam h?otorcycle Shop in the sum of $3,650.00, less $600.00
for trade-in of one (1) -1953 Model 53 FLE Harley-Davidson Solo Type
Motorcycle, and one'(1) 1959 Model GA Harley-Davidson Service Car,
makinc a total of'$3,150.00, plus any applicable taxes, for the sale
to the City of two (2) new 1.1estcoaster Traffic -Master 765 3 -Wheel
Motor Vehicles with cab, having. the specifications as provided;by a
Resolution adopted February P, 1966 by the Board of Commissioners
authorizing advertisement for bids, and including a 55 amp alternator
and to be sent-F.O.B. Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said vehciles
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage; and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter. .
