AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AIV ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADJUSTING THE RATES OF PAY FOR CERTAIN
NON -CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH", WHICH WAS
ADOPTED ON MARCH 16, 1957 AND AR1;NDED ON JANUARY 25, 1966
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
%ri• SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted on March 16,.1957, and amended
II on January 25, 1966, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained
�+ so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the monthlyorhourly rate of
compensation

The Assistant.Corporation Counsel (Police Court) shall be paid
at the rate of $315.00 per month for the first year of employment and
at the expiration of one year the rate of pay shall be $325.00 per
month, such increase shall be made upon recommendation of the City
Manaper.
The Secretaryto the Citv Judue shall be paid at the rate of $260.00
per month for the first year of employment and at the expiration pf
one year the rate of pay shall be $270.00 per month, such increase to
he made.npon recommendation of the City Manaper.
The Clerk -typist in the Engineering Department shall be paid at
the rate of V225.00 per.month £or,the first six months of employment;
at the expiration of six months $240.00 per month; at the expiration of
one year $255.00 per month and at -the expiration of two years $265.00
per month, such increases to he made upon recommendation of the City
Manaper.
Housinp Code Enforcement Officers shall be paid at the rate of
$350.00 per month for the first six months of employment, at the
expiration of six. months $360.00 per month; and at the expiration of
one year $370.00 per month, such increases to be made, upon upon recommendat
of the City Manaper.
The Telephone Operator shall be paid at the rate of $240.00
per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration
of six'months $250.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $270.00
per month and at the expiration of one and one-half years $280.00 per
month, such increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Rlanauer.
Meter Maids shall be paid at the rate of $270.00 per month for the
first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months Y280.00
per month; at the expiration of one year $290.00 per month and at the
expiration of two years $300.00 per month, such increases to be made
upon recommendation of the City Manaper.
The Stenoprapher - Record Room shall he paid at the rate of $270.00
per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of
six, months $280.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $290.00 per
month and at the expiration of two years $300.00 per month, such
increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Manaper.
The Clerk -typist No. 2 (Inspector's Office) shall. be paid at the
rate of 4225.CO per month for the first six months of employment; at
the expiration of six months $211.0.00 per month; at the expiration of
one year t255.00 per month and at the expiration of two years $265.00
per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation of the City
Manar,er. .

The Janitor shall be paid at the rate of 4.1.63 per hour for the
first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months $1.68
per hour -and at the expiration of one year $1.73 per hour, such increases
to be made upon recommendation of the City Manager.
Assistant Janitors shall be paid at the rate of $1.33 per hour for
the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months
$1.38 per hour and at the expiration of one year $1.43 per hour, such
increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Manacer.
The Meter Technician shall be paid at the rate of $1.98 per hour
for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall be $2.03 per hour-, such increases to be
made upon recommendation of the -City Manacer.
The No. 2 Maintenance Alan shall be paid at the rate of $1.88 per
hour for the first- six months of employment and at the expiration bf
six months the rate of pay shall be $1.93 per hour, such increase to
he made upon recommendation of the City Manai-er.
The Maintenance Helper shall be paid at the rate of $1.78 per hour
for the .first six months of employment°and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall ire $1.83 per hour, such increase to be
made upon recommendation of the City Manaper."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
