AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH THE CITY MANAGER
SHALL RECEIVE AND TRANSFERRING SUFFICIENT FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENT
FUND TO THE APPROPRIATION FOR CITY MANAGER'S SALARY TO PAY THE SALARY
SO PROVIDED", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON
JULY 22, 1992, AND AMENDED ON NOVEMBER 9, 1965
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
.SECTI_ON 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the 19 G d
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners

on Jule 22,-1492, and amended"on November 9, 1965, be,, and the same
is hereby further amended,'so that said Section as amended shall
read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That effective April 1, 1966, the City Manager
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, shall receive a salary for his
services at the rate of $12,500.00 per year until October 1, 1966
when such salary shall he at the rate of $13,000.00 per year. Said
salary shall he paid at the times other city salaries are paid, and
to t.e exclusive of any compensation paid to him as a member of the
Electric Plant Board of said City.!'
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall he in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
