AN ORDINAPiCE AMENDING SECTION; 1 OF API ORDINAPiCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHINC: THE NUMBER, RANKS AND MONTHLY SALARIES OF
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANiCES IN CONFLICT HEREWT H",
'IHICH 1,9AS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 11, 1951,
AND AMENDED ON KOVErBER 9, 1A6 -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COP•tMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing- the title
quoted arove, which was adopted on December 11, 1951 and amended or.
November n, 19(`, he, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so
that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows;
"SECTION 1. The number and rank of the members of the Fire De-
partment of the City of Pdducab and their monthly salaries, provided
said salaries are not chan.,ed by and annual apportionment ordinance
hereafter adopted shall to as folio -,.is:

The Chief of the Fire_ Department shall be paid at the rate of
4(20.00 per month for the first six months; at the expiration of six
months $630.00 per month; at the expiration of one year 4640.00 per
month and at the expiration of two years `4650.00 per month; such
increases to he made upon recommendation of the City Mana!rer.
Assistant Chiefs shall be paid at the rate of $495.00 per month
for the first six months: at the expiration of six months $5505.00 per
month: at the expiration of one year $515.00 per month and at the
expiration of two years 4525.00 per month, such increases to be made
upon recommendation of the Citv Manaeer.
Captains shall be paid at the rate of $430.00 per month for the
first six months; at the expiration of six months $440.00 per month
and at the expiration of one year 1450.00 per month, such increases
to be made upon recommendation of the City Manaeer.
The Inspector shall ie paid at the rage of $39C.00 per month for
the .first six months, at the expiration of six months $400.00 per month

and at the expiration of one hear z:410.00 per month, such increases to
re made upon recommendation of the City r,anarer.
En,ineers shall he paid at the rate of ;'390.00 per month for
the first six months, at the expiration of six months 4400.00 per month
and at the expiration of one "ear 4k10.00 per month, such increases to
be made upon recommendation of the City Manager.
Firemen shall Ie paid at the rate of °,340.00 per month for the

at the expiration of one year $360.00 per month; at the expiration of

per month, such increases to he made upon recommendation of the City

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
aerewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTIOA' 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
and after April 1, 1966.
