AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KENTUCKY MACHINERY, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW ALLIS-CHALMERS MODEL HD7G TRACTOR -
SHOVEL FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPART14ENT OF_THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE
MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept .the
hid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc. in the sum of $21,728.00, less $7,500.00
for trade-in of one (1) 1960 Caterpillar Model 955 Traxcavator Front End
Loader, making a total of .*14,228.00, plus any applicable Kentucky taxes,
for the sale to the City of one (1) new Allis-Chalmers Model HD7G
Tractorshovel, powered by a Model 7000 Allis-Chalmers diesel engine,
having the specifications as provided by a Resolution adopted January
25, 1966 by the Board of Commissioners authorizing advertisement for
bids, and as contained in the bid of said Kentucky Machinery, Inc.
dated February 12, 1966.
SECTION 2. That theCity Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equipment
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
