AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOF THE CREATION OF THE POSITION OF
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER, PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES
OF SAME AND THE COMPENSATION THEREFOR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created.and established the position
of Administrative Assistant to the City Manager.
SECTION 2. The duties of said Administrative Assistant to the
City Manager shall be those as may be prescribed and established by
the City Manager not incompatible with any law or ordinance.
SECTION 3. The salary of the Administrative Assistant to the
City Manager shall be $500.00 per month, pahable as other city
salaries are paid.
SECTION L. The position of Administrative Assistant to the
City Manager shall not be under civil -service; and no person' -shall
occupy said office unless he is a resident of the City of Paducah
or becomes a resident thereof within 90 days after his appointment.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full•force and effect
from and after its adoption, and shall be retroactive to February 1, 1966.
