AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF MAIDEN ALLEY SITUATED
BETWEEN FIRST STREET AND SECOND STREET IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND
EXTENDING SOUTHWARDLY FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF JEFFERSON STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.' That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of a certain portion of Maiden Alley in the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, described as follows:
"Being all that portion of Maiden Alley
in Block 5 of Old Town in said City,
extending in'a southerly direction a
distance of 100 feet from the south
line of Jefferson Street towards Broad-
way, and situated between First Street
and Second Street.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered
to institute and prosecute, pursuant to Section 94.360 of Kentucky
Revised Statutes, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a
Judgment ordering the closing of the portion of the alley described
in Section l hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
