AN OPDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HENRY A. PETTER SUPPLY COMPANY,
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF 1000 FEET OF 2J -INCH
FIRE HOSE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAME, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. .That the bid of Henry,A. Petter Supply Company for the
sale to the City of 1000 feet of 2J -inch double jacket cotton rubber
lined fire hose having the specifications contained in the resolution
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah on
December 2, 1965 authorizing the City Manager to advertise for bids
for such fire hose, for the price of $1.15 per foot less 2% discount,
be accepted, and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to enter into and execute a contract, on behalf of the City,
for the purchase of same.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting
of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one (1)
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect ten (10) days thereafter.
