HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 810, No Ordinance Number810 b AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING RULES FOR THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FIXING THE TIME FOR HOLDING REGULAR MEETINGS OF SAID BOARD, AND REPEALING ALL RULES AND ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 4, 1951, AND AMENDED ON JUNE 1L, 1958 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C014MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 12 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 4, 1951, and amended on June 1L., 1958, be, and the same is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: . "SECTION 12. The Repular"Meetings of the Board of Commissioners shall be held at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, except when such meetings will fall on a legal holiday, then the Regular Meeting of said Board will he held on the following day at the same hour. Special or called meetings may be held upon the request of the Mayor or two members of the Board of Commissioners if written notice thereof is delivered to each member or to his or her residence or business address twenty-four hours prior to the time that such meetinr• is to he held. Provided, however, a special or called meeting may he held at any date and hour without smitten notice provided the Mayor and all members of the Board of Commissioners are present at such meeting. Executed or accepted notices shall he filed with the City Clerk and spread upon the minutes. The agenda for each meeting shall close at 12:00 o'clock noon on the day before the meeting, and immediately thereafter the Clerk shall prepare a typed agenda and send a copy of same to each member of the Board of Commissioners together with any supportinp data and recommendations of the City Manager. Ido business not on the agenda will be considered if obiected to by any member present. No ordinance will be considered if objected to by an,r member present who has not 1-een furnished a copy of same at least 24 hours prior to the meeting." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to Lhe extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
