HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 78, No Ordinance Number7$/ MASON AVENUE AND ROSS AVENUE, AND EXTENDING WESTWARDLY AT RIGHT ANGLES FROM THE WESTERLY LINE OF JOE CLIFTON DRIVE TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF A FIFTEEN FOOT PLATTED ALLEY EXTENDING BETWEEN TRIMBLE STREET AND PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a 20 -foot alley lying midway between Mason Avenue and Ross Avenue, and extending westwardly at right angles from the westerly line of Joe Clifton Drive to the easterly line of a 15 -foot platted alley extending between Trimble Street and Ross Avenue, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the westerly line of Joe Clifton Drive 163.25 feet southwardly from the southwest corner of the intersection of Ross Avenue and Joe Clifton Drive; thence at right angles to Joe Clifton Drive, this line being the northerly line of said alley a distance of 510.5 feet to the easterly line of a 15 -foot alley which extends between Trimble Street and Ross Avenue; thence in a southerly direction and with the easterly line of the aforesaid 15 -foot alley 22.51 feet to the point where the southerly line of the alley herein described intersects said 15 -foot alley; thence in an easterly direction and on a line perpendicular to the westerly line of Joe Clifton Drive a distance of 561 feet to the westerly line of Joe Clifton Drive; thence at right angles and with the westerly line of Joe Clifton Drive 20 feet to the point of beginning. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 hereof.
