STREET AND SOWELL STREET, AND A SIXTEEN FOOT ALLEY BETWEEN LIZZIE
STREET AND MAGGIE STREET, EXTENDING FROM GILSON STREET TO SOWELL
STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does
hereby authorize the closing of certain portions of Lizzie Street,
Maggie Street and Sowell Street, and a sixteen foot alley between
Lizzie Street and Maggie Street extending from Gilson Street to
Sowell Street, all of which are described as follows:
The 16 foot alley between Lizzie Street and
Maggie Street extending from Gilson Street
to Sowell Street; and
Lizzie Street between the south line of Gilson
Street and the north line of Sowell Street; and
Maggie Street between the south line of Gilson
Street and the north line of the former Palmer
Street, which is now closed; and
Sowell Street between the west line of Locust
Street and the east line of the I. C. R. R.
right of way.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered
to institute and prosecute:;. pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in
the McCracken Circuit Court for a ,judgment ordering the closing
of the streets and alley described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
