TODD UNIFORM RENTAL SERVICE COMPANY OF KENTUCKY, FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH UNIFORMS FOR THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That.the bid of Chas. Todd Uniform Rental Service Company of Kentuckv for furnishing the City of Paducah with uniforms for the refuse Department personnel, be accepted at the cost of $1.60 per employee per week, under the following terms, conditions and,specifications: 1. Five (5) new uniforms .for, each of approximately thirty (30) employees so as to provide each employee with two (2) changes per week. 2. Each uniform shall have two (2) insignias, - employee's name on the right side and "Refuse Division" on the left side. 3. Pick-up and delivery shall be made at least once each week, so that at all times there will be two uniforms in process of being laundered, two uniforms at the Refuse Division and one uniform on the employee. 4. No mutilated uniforms are to be used, and all clothing_ mutilated to the extent of requiring extensive patching or cross-stitching to repair shall be replaced with new articles. 5. When each employee is measured for uniforms he may choose either coveralls or pants and shirts. Uniforms will be identified so that each employee will get his own clothes each week. 6.- The period of time for furnishing the City with such uniforms and uniform service shall be a period of one (1) year from the effecti-e date of this ordinance. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said Chas. Todd Uniform Rental Service Company of Kentucky for the uniforms and services as set out in Section 1 hereof, such contract to be executed as of the effective date of this ordinance. 755 SECTION 3, This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if asopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter. h�layor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners September lh, 1965 Adopted by the Board of Commissioners September 23, 1965 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, Citv Clerk, September 23, 1965.
