A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN ALTERNATE PLACE OP;.PAYMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL OF
AND INTEREST ON $600,000 "CITY OF PADUCAH SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS OF
1965" AS AUTHORIZED BY AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED ON JULY 20, 1965, AND PUBLICLY
SOLD ON AUGUST 24., 196x.
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. In accordance with the terms and conditions of
the public offering of $600,000 "City of Paducah Sewer System Revenue
Bonds of 1965," dated August 1, 1965, as authorized by an Ordinance
adopted on July 20, 196, and publicly sold, after due advertisement,
on August 2L, 1965, it is acknowledged that the parties to whom said
bonds were awarded on the occasion of said public sale have exercised
their offered priviler-e to designate as an alternate place of payment
of the principal of and interest on said bonds, the principal office
of First American National Bank of Nashville, in Nashville, Tennessee,
the same being a financial institution meeting the prescribed qualifica-
tions, in that it is a member of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation,
and is located in a city wherein there is an office or a branch office
of the Federal Reserve Bank; and pursuant to such action on the part
of said purchasers, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, acting through this
Board of Commissioners as its governing body, hereby designates the
principal office of said financial institution as an alternate place
of payment of the principal of and interest on said bonds.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
upon its adoption.
ADOPTED at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners held on
the lLth day of September, 1965.
