AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TFL BID OF LEWES E. TILFORD d/b/a ED TILFORD
PLMT3ING AND HEATING COTVANY, FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ONE (1) COMPLETE FACTORY
BUILT UNDERGROUND PUI•;PIEG PLANT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXcCUTE A CON-
TRACT AND DECLARING AN E1CHZNCY TO EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01414ISSIONERS OF TIE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid oC Lewes E. Tilford
d/b/a Ed Til -ford Plumbing & Heating Company, in the amount of $11,946.80, for
the installation of one (1) complete factory built underground pumping plant
having the specifications as contained in said bid and as prescribed in the bidding
documents prepared by the Engineering Department of the City.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into a contract for the installation of said plant as set out in Section
1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
at least one (1) creek for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, but it being necessary for the.public health and
safety, an emergence is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
