PETTER SUPPLY COMPANY FOR FURNISHING AND DELIVERING ONE AUTOMATIC PUMP STATION, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE CONTRACT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CON-IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Henry A. Fetter Supply Company in the amount of $5,523.35 (which amount includes $157.35 Kentucky Sales Tax). for the furnishing and delivery of one (1) Automatic Underground Pump Station having the specifications as contained in said bid and as prescribed in the bidding documents prepared tv the Enpineerinp• Department of the City, and as contained in the Resolution adopted June 8, 1965 by the Board of Commissioners authorizing the City Manager to advertise for bids for such equipment. SECTION 2. That the City ManaFer be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equipment as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one T1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being necessary for the public health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
