THE SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) NEW JOHN DEERE TRACTORS FOR USE IPI
THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY; PRESCRIBING THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Cit: of Paducah accept the bid of G & G
Equipment Company in the sum of *x,281.00, less `1,969.00 for trade-in
of one 19L.8 Ford Tractor and one 1951 Ford Tractor, plus $99.36 Kentucky
Sales Tax, making a total of 0,1!11-3( for the sale to the Citv of
two (2) new 1965 John Deere Tractors having the following specifica-
tions:
No. 10.0 Gasoline Tractor, Hydraulic System for and with, 3 Point
Hitch and Power Take -Off. 11.2 x 28, G. ply Tires and 500 x 15
A. ply Tires.
SECTION 2. That theCity Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract .for said tractors as set out in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall. be put upon its final passage, but it being -
necessary for the public health and safety, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
