HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 6, No Ordinance Number6 / V AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY IN THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY FIFTH, WASHINGTON, FOURTH AND CLARK STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY. SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorizing the closing of the alley in the block bounded by Fifth, Washington, Fourth and Clark Streets, described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at a point on the north line of Clark Street 173.25 feet east of Fifth Street; thence northwardly and parallel with Fifth Street 163.25 feet; thence west- wardly and parallel with Clark Street 173.25 feet to a point on the east line of Fifth Street; thence northwardly with the east line of Fifth Street 10 feet; thence east- wardly and parallel with Clark Street 183.25 feet; thence south-wardly and parallel with Fifth Street 173.25 feet to a point on the north line of Clark Street; thence west- wardly with the north line of Clark Street 10 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a ,judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
