FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF NO. 7, NO. 8, NO. 9 AND NO. 11 LIMESTONE, KENTUCKY STATE HIGHWAY SPECIFICATIONS, FOR USE BY THE CITY DURING 1965, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAI4C; AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SAID PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C011IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1.. That the bid of Reed Crushed. Stone Company, Inc. for the sale to the City of No. 7, No. Fl-, No. 9 and No. 11 limestone, Kentucky State HirhWay Specifications, required by the City during the year 1965 (approximately 5000 to $000 tons) be accepted, and. that -the Citv Nanarer be,, and he is hereby, authorized -to enter into and. execute a -contract for.the purchase, upon the order of the City, of all such limestone to be used during.the year 1965, such contract to provide for the price of $1.45 per ton. The limestone is to he delivered to any destination in the city limits of the City as_ ordered, by collect•telephone call to the Director of Public Works, in one hundred ton lots or more, and delivery to begin within twenty-four (24) hours after notification and continue until the required amount has.been delivered.. All weights of delivered limestone must he certified at some accurate scales at or near the City of Paducah at the, expense of the Seller. The Seller.shall furnish representative samples of the_limest-one at the re.que.st of the Director.of Public. Works. The Seller shall ruarantee arainst advance in the market price, and ruarantee reduction in the event of a decrease.in the market price. The Seller shall post a performance bond in the sum of $1,500.00 ruaranteeinc• specifications and delivery. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a Rerular -eetin- of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one (1) week for pul)lic inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall ,e in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter. ��GM�rL'%44C�.K �L.� ♦ .J��C �d�'�� Korman A.
