FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF RC -0 TO q AND MMC -0 TO s LIQUID ASPHALT
REQUIRED BY THE CITY OF FADUCAH DURING THE YEAR 19(9; AUTHORIZING THE
CITY 1ANACER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE
OF SAID MATERIAL; AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH
SAID PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COPgdISSIONERS' OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the hid of Kentuckv Asphalt Sales Company for
the sale to the City of Paducah of all NIC -0. to � and RC -O to 5
liquid asphalt required by the City of Faducah during the year 1965
re accepted, and that the City Ylanarer be, and he.is hereby, authorized
to enter into and execute.a contract for the purchase upon the order
of said city all of such asphalt to he used during 1965 at the following
prices:
Liquid asphalt delivered.by transport -,rith insulated trailers
at $0.1199 per gallon, f.o.h.'(th R- Campbell Streets, Paducah,
Kentucky, or to ary point desi!-rated b-• the City of Paducah,
and by railroad insulated tank car at $0.1260 per gallon, .f.o.b.
6th & Campbell Streets, Paducah, Kentuckv.
Said contract shall also contain all the terms, conditions and
specifications contained in a Resolution authorizing* the advertisement
for bids which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of said City
on Itarch 23, 196,-. A ruarantee shall be provided a?ainst advance in
the market price and a sruarantee shall he provided for reduction in
price in the event of a decrease in the market price, and said
Company shall post a performance bond in the sum of $:2,500.00
guaranteeing specifications and delivery. Terms of payment shall be
lq` ten (10) days, Net thirty (30) days.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a Regular
Meetin7 of the Poard of Commissioners and remain on file for at
least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall :e put upon its final passar-e,and if adopted shall
to in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
