HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 539, No Ordinance Number539/ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES, OVER CERTAIN LAND OWED BY J. H. OTRRIEN AND WIFE, ALINE O'BRIEN BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, purchase from J. H. O'Brien and wife, Aline 0°Brien, a permanent easement for sewer purposes -over and across the following described land: Beinp a 10 foot strip of ground along part of the North side of Lot 11!, Block 1. - River Oaks Subdivision recorded in Flat Book "D", page P8, McCracken County Court Clerk's office and more particularly described as 'follows: Beginninv at a point on the westerly line of River Oaks Suldi-,rision,said point being 77.2 feet north of the south west corner of Lot 1L; thence along said westerly line in a northerly direction 10.02 feet to the southerly line of a 20 foot easement; thence in a northeasterly direction and along the line of said easement 1.2.LO feet to an angle in said line; thence continuing along.said-easement line in an easterly direction 29.L1 feet; thence in a southwesterly direc- tion a distance of 69.31 feet to the point of.beginning. Feint* a part of the same land conveyed to J. H. O'Brien and wife, Aline O'Brien, by deed df record in Deed Book 356, page 92, in -the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office. SECTION 2. Upon receipt of an easement approved by the Cor- poration. Counsel and executed by J. H. O'Brien and wife, Aline O'Brien, the City Treasurer is berehv authorized to pari to said owners for said easement the sum of $P00.00 and to be charged to Account No. 9003.
