RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF APPLICATION WITH THE HOUSING
AND HOME FINANCE AGENCY, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FOR A GRANT
UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC LAV] 345, 84TH CONGRESS, AS AMENDED BY
THE PUBLIC WORKS ACCELERATION ACT.
WHEREAS, under the terms of said Public Law 345, as amended, the
United States of America has authorized the making of grants to
public bodies to aid in financing the construction of specific
I public projects:
Novi Therefore, Be It Resolved By Board of Commissioners of City
of Paducah, Kentucky
1. That Hon. Robert C. Cherry, Mayor, be and he is hereby
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of
City of Paducah, Kentucky with the Housing and Home Finance
Agency, United States Government, for a grant to aid in
financing the construction of system of relief sewers to
remove excess flow from overloaded combination sewers.
2. That R. L•. Brockman, City Manager, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the
Housing and Home Finance Agency may reasonably request in
connection with the application which is herein authorized
to be filed.
