HOFFMAN CERTAIN LAND IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR USE IN CONNECTION
WITH BLACKBURN PARK, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON i
WHICH -SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, purchase from
the Estate of T. J. Hoffman, for the sum of $2,000.00, certain land
in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, .for use in connection with
Blackburn Park, said land being described as follows:
Being Lots Nos. 1 and 2 in Block No. 4 -in the
Norton, Ware and Jones Addition, on the east
side of 10th Street between Caldwell and Husbands
Streets. Being 4.0 feet by 162_feet each.
Being a part of the same land conveyed to T, J.
Hoffman by T. A. Miller, Master Commissioner, by
deed dated November 21, 1939, and of record in
Master Commissioner's Deed Book 12, page 101 in
the McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon conveyance of said land to the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, by a Food and sufficient deed approved by the Corporation
Counsel, the Treasurer of the City is hereby authorized to pay to the
Estate of T. J. Hoffman, the aforesaid sum of $2,000.00.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
