A RESOLUTION SELECTING AND DESIGNATING MORRIS A. LEE, A CERTIFIED
PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO AUDIT THE RECORDS OF THE
ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FROM JULY 1,
1961. TO JUNE 30, 1965
WHEREAS, KRS 96.88 O provides that an audit of the records of the
Electric Plant Board shall be made annuallv by.an auditor selected by the
Legislative Body of the City, and that the expense of said audit shall
constitute an operating expense of the Electric Plant Board, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted by the Electric Plant Board on
January 27, 1965, said Board recommended to the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Paducah that Morris A. Lee, Certified Public Accountant,
be appointed to make the audit of the Electric Plant Board's records from
Julv 1, 1961: to June 30, 1965.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIOPIERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION•!; That Morris A. Lee, A Certified Public Accountant of
Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby selected and designated to audit the records
of the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah as provided by HRS
96.810 and that the expense of such audit shall constitute an operating
expense of said Board.
SECTION.2. The compensation of such audit shall be based upon the
standard fees of Certified Public Accountants, however, the total cost
of same shall not exceed the sum of $2,700.00.
SECTION 3_ That the Clerk of this Board forward a certified copy
of this resolution to the Superintendent of the Paducah Power System and
to the Chairman of the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah.
SECTION !,_ This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
