AUTOMATIC 111ET AND DRY SCRUBBER FOR USE IN THE NEW CITY HALL BUILDING, AND PRESCRIBINC. THE CONDITIONS I UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE j i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COAD?ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF I PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Clerk be, and sbe is hereby, authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the sale to the City of one (1) new battery powered automatic Bret and dry scrubber for use for cleaninF purposes in the new City Hall, capable of scrubbing a swath approx- imately 1$" to 20" wide, and equipped with battery charger to operate from 115 volt 60 cycle alternating current. Each bidder must Five full and complete specifications of the equipment bid upon by him, shall state the lenFth of time required for delivery and the nature and extent of any and all guarantees, and if requested shall make a demonstration to the Board of Commissioners of the exact equipment he bids upon. The successful bidder shall thoroughly instruct, at his expense, the necessary personnel of the City as to the proper use, operation and maintenance of said equipment. SECTION 2. The Cit, Clerk shall advertise for bids by a notice posted at the City Hall door and by inserting notice of the request for bids in the Sun-Democrat at least one time not less than ? days nor more than 21 days before the date fixed for the openine, of bids. All bids shall be sealed and no bid shall be received after the hour fixed in the notice for the opening of same. All bids received by the City Clerk up to the time .fixed in the notice for the opening of same shall !�e .filed with the Board of Commissioners who may let a contract to the lowest and best bidder, and the Board of Commissioners shall reserve the ripht to refect any and all bids and the City shall not become obligated to purchase said equipment until the adoption of an ordinance authorizing, the execution of a purchase contract.
