HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 437-A, No Ordinance Number437-6 G MENDED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITL "AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE OPERAT OF A MUNICIPAL COLLEGE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY", W WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON NOVEMBER 6, 19 AND AMENDED ON DECEMBER 22, 1959 WHEREAS a vacancy in the membership of the Board of Trustees of the Paducah Junior Collepe has been created by the death of Schultz Riggs, and it being necessary to fill said vacancy, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 6, 1939, and amended on December 22, 1959, be amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: "SECTION.1. That Jack Rottgering be appointed a member of the Board of Trustees of the Paducah Junior College to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Schultz Riggs, so that said Board of Trustees (appointed by the City) as now constituted shall be composed of John G. Russell, Brady M. Stewart, T. S. Waller, W. A. Conway, Roy Vance, Marshall E. Nemer, Dr. Leon Higdon, Howard Z. Gray, Ed Trevathan, William A. Feiler, Beasley Vaughn and Jack Rottgering. Said Board of Trustees shall control the municipal college in the City of Paducah which has been established pursuant to the provisions of KRS 165.160 to 165.200, and are to have all the powers given to them pursuant to the provisions of said statutes." SECTION 2.
