HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 430, No Ordinance Number430 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 13TH STREET AND PARK AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken County Planning Commission on November 18, 1964, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 13TH STREET AND PARK AVENUE", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from B-3 General Business and R-3 Two -Family Residential to B-1 Neighborhood Business: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Park Avenue and 13th Street; thence east with the center line of Park Avenue 138 feet; thence north, parallel with 13th Street, 186 feet to the center line of an alley; thence west with the center line of said alley, and that line extended, 138 feet to the center line of 13th Street; thence south with the center line of 13th Street 186 feet to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section , paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
