AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY NORTH OF JEFFERSON
STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, EXTENDING FROM THE WEST LINE
OF 10TH STREET TO THE EAST LINE OF THE RICHT-OF-WAY OF THE ILLINOIS
CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY, SAID ALLEY BEING APPROXIMATELY 160 FEET
NORTH OF JEFFERSON STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Citv of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of a portion of an alley in said City described
as follows:
Said alley being 160 feet north of
Jefferson Street and extending from the
west line of 10th Street to the east
line of the right-of-wav of the Illinois
Central Railroad Company.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the Citv of
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby authprized and empowered to
institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the
McCracken Circuit Court for a iudqment ordering the closing_ of the
alley described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3_ This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
