A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PURCHASE PRICE OF $31,775.00 TO BE
PAID BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO THE URBAN RENEWAL AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SAID CITY FOR THE PURCHASE OF
CERTAIN LAND IN SAID CITY FOR A CITY HALL SITE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, by and through
its Board of Commissioners, does hereby approve the purchase price
of $31,775.00 to be paid by said City to the Urban Renewal and
Community Development Agency of Paducah, Kentucky, for the purchase
of certain land in said city for a City Hall site, said land con-
sisting of approximately 105,901 square feet, bounded on the north by
Washington Street, on the east by 4th Street, on the south by Clark
Street and on the west by 5th Street, being known as Parcels 5A and
5B in what is known as Project KY R-30 Civic Center Urban Renewal
Area.
SECTION 2. That it is hereby determined by the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, that the purchase
price of $31,775.00 set out in Section 1 hereof is not less than
the fair value of the land described in said Section.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
