AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTORS, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1965 MODEL C-750 FORD TRUCK
AND 16 CUBIC YARD GARWOOD PACKER BODY, FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DIVISION
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON
WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of King -Woodall Motors, Inc. in the sum of $10,414.53, less $1,L.36.53
for trade-in of one 1963 GMC 454 with 13 yard Garwood packer, making
a total of $$,97$.00 for the sale to the City of One (1) new 1965
Model C-750 Ford Truck with 16 cubic yard Garwood Packer Body, having
the specifications as set out in the bid for said equipment submitted
by the said King -Woodall Motors, Inc. dated August 14, 1964.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for said vehicle and body as set out in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
