HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 39, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY OF PEOPLES FIRST NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BROADWAY, EAST OF 30TH STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken County Planning Commission on March 20, 1963, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY OF PEOPLES FIRST NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BROADWAY EAST OF 30TH STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-1 (One -Family Residential) to B-3 (General Business): Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Broadway and 30th Streets; thence north with the center line of 30th Street 215 feet, more or less, to the center line of a 20 foot alley, extended; thence east with the center line of said alley, as extended, 265 feet, more or less, to a point marking the intersection of that line with the east line of the property of the Peoples First National Bank & Trust Company, extended; thence south with the east line of said property to the center line of Broadway; thence west with the center line of Broadway to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance - 1961 and the maps referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5.
