HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 373, No Ordinance Number373 4 --- AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A TWENTY FOOT ALLEY EXTENDING FROM THE WEST LINE OF 27TH STREET TO THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF THE BELTLINE HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1.: -That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a twenty foot alley extending from the west line of 27th Street to the southeast.line of.the.Beltline Highway, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of 27th Street 63.59 feet, more or less, south of the southeast line of the Beltline Highway, said point being where the north line of a 20 foot alley intersects said line of 27th Street; thence south with the said west line of 27th Street 20 feet to a point where the south line of said alley intersects the said line of 27th Street; thence at right angles to 27th Street southwest and with the south line of said alley 154.12 feet to a point on the southeast line of the Beltline Highway; thence southeast with the southeast line of the Beltline Highway 41.94 feet to a point where the north line of said alley intersects said line of the Beltline Highway; thence northeast and with.the.north line of said alley 117.26 feet to the point of beginning on the west line of 27th Street. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant.to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court fora ,judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. .This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
