FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH UNIFOUIS FOR THE REFUSE DEPART11ENT PERSONNEL, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY 14ANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI-VISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of Paducah Laundry and Cleaners, Inc. for furnishing the City of Paducah with uniforms for the Refuse Department Personnel be accepted, at a cost of $1.65 per employee per week, under the following terms, conditions and specifications: 1. Five (5) new uniforms for each of approximately 30 employees, so as to provide each employee with two changes per week. 2. Each uniform shall have two insignias - employees name on richt side and "Refuse Division" on the left side. 3. Pickup and delivery shall be made at least once each week, so that at all times there will be 2 uniforms in process of being laundered, 2 uniforms at the Refuse Division and one uniform on the employee. 4. No mutilated uniforms are to be used, and all clothing mutilat- ed to the extent of requiring extensive patching or cross- stitching to repair shall be replaced with new articles. 5. When each employee is measurer for new uniforms, he may choose either coveralls or pants and shirt. Uniforms shall be identified so that each employee will aet his own clothes each week. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said Paducah Laundry and Cleaners, Inc, for the services set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTIO'H 3.
