"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH THE CITY
MANAGER SHALL RECEIVE AND TRANSFERRING SUFFICIENT FUNDS FROM THE
CONTINGENT FUND TO THE APPROPRIATION FOR CITY MANAGER'S SALARY
TO PAY THE SALARY SO PROVIDED", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
COM14ISSIONERS ON JULY 22, 1952, AND AMENDED ON JANUARY 23, 1961
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM•ZISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title,cuoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on July 22, 1952, and amended on January 23, 1961, be, And the same
is hereby further amended, so that said Section as amended shall
read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, receive for his services the sum of $1,000.00 per month
to be paid to him at the time other city salaries are paid."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption, and shall be retroactive to July 1, 1964.
