AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH RECAPPING SERVICE
FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH ;LITH ITS REQUIREIVENT OF AUTO AND
TRUCK TIRES FOR THE RCMIAINDER OF THE YEAR 1964, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0I42-IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Paducah Recappin7 Service for furnishing the City with its
reouirement of auto and truck tires for the remainder of the year
1964 (from the effective date of this ordinance), said contract to
contain the following terms and conditions:
The tires so furnished shall be first line tires, manu-
factured by the SeiberlinF Rubber Company with current manufacturer's
tread, and the price for such tires shall be the net SeiberlinF
State price to the Commonwealth of Kentucky less a discount of
17.06;x, and the Cite I,"sanarer is hereby authorized to enter into and
execute a contract for the purchase of said tires under said terms
and conditions.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting
of the Board of Commissioners and remain on .file for at least one (1)
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force
and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
