A RESOLUTION RECOh^MENDING THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
PADUCAH JUNIOR COLLEGE AND THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN DEVELOPMENT
COUNCIL TAKE ACTION IN ESTABLISHING A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE
UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY AND THE PADUCAH JUNIOR COLLEGE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COAMIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby recommend that the Board of Trustees
of the Paducah Junior College and the Paducah -McCracken Development
Council take such immediate action as shall be necessary to estab-
lish a working relationship and arrangement with the Administration
of the University of Kentucky in developing a connection between
the University of Kentucky and the Paducah Junior College in
accordance with the objectives stated in the January 27, 1964
report of the Paducah -McCracken Development Council.
SECTION 2. Said objectives constitute the policy of the
Legislative Body of the City in respect to higher education as
set forth in a resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on the 11th day of February, 1961, a copy of which is attached
hereto.
SECTION 3. ThisResolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
