A RESOLUTION SELECTING AND DESIGNATING MORRIS A. LEE, A CERTIFIED
PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO AUDIT THE RECORDS OF THE ELECTRIC
PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FROM JULY 1, 1963 to JUNE 30,
1961:
WHEREAS, KRS 96.8LO provides that an audit of the records of the
Electric Plant Board shall be made annually by an auditor selected by
the Le-islative Body of the City, and that the expense of said audit
shall constitute an operating expense of the Electric Plant Board, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted by the Electric Plant Board on
Fehruary 12, 1961,, said Board recommended to the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Paducah that Morris A. Lee, Certified Public Accountant,
be appointed to make the audit of the Electric Plant Board's records from
July 1, 1963 to June 30, 1964.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Morris A. Lee, a Certified Public Accountant
of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby selected and designated to audit the
records of the Electric Flant Board of the City of Paducah as provided
by KRS 96.8LO and that the expense of such audit shall constitute an
operating expense of .said Board.
SECTION 2. The compensation for such audit shall be based upon
the standard fees of Certified Public Accountants, however, the total
cost of same shall not exceed the sum of $2,800.00.
SECTION 3_ That the Clerk of this Board forward a certified
COPY of this resolution to the Superintendent of the Paducah Power
System and to the Chairman of the Qlectric Plant Board of the City
of Paducah.
SECTION 1,.. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
