HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 245, No Ordinance Number245 y AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN ALLEY 145 FEET NORTHEAST OF UNION STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of the following alley: A tnenty foot alley, the southwest line of which begins at a point 145 feet northeast of Union Street in the south line of the original location of Bockman Street, which alley runs in a south- easterly direction and parallel to Union Street 680 feet more or less towards Brown Avenue, and which alley is indicated on the plat of F. W. Katterjohn's Union Station Subdivision as drawn by L. A. Washington in April 1924, which plat is on file in the office of the City Engineer, Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a .judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
