AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN LAND FROM
HENDERSON ADAMS, FIXING THE PURCHASE PRICE OF SAME, AND PRESCRIBING
THE TER143 AND PROVISIONS OF SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, purchase from
Henderson Adams the following described land in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky:
Lots F and 9 in Block L in Addition "0"
to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said lots
having a total frontage of 80 feet on the
east side of South 10th Street or Murrell
Boulevard, and extending back eastwardly
with the north line of Husbands Street 162
feet to an alley.
Being the same land conveved to Henderson
Adams by Dora Blancbtt by deed dated July 25,
1925, and of record in Deed Book 1L6, page 396
in the NlcCracken County Court Clerk's Office.
The purchase price to be paid for said land shall be the sum of
$2,500.00, and upon receipt of a general warranty deed conveying the
above land to the City of Paducah properly executed and approved
by the Corporation Counsel, the City Treasurer is hereby directed to
pay to said Henderson. Adams the sum of $2,500.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full .force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
