FOR HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND LADDERS FOR THE AERIAL LADDER TRUCK OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY 14ANAGER TO ENTER
INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of'peter Pirsch & Sons Company for a
hydraulic system and ladders for 1940 model Peter Pirsch Aerial Ladder
Truck of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in the sum of $9,239.00, be
accepted. All work and material shall be the same as specified under
Parts I and II of Section 1 of a Resolution adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of said City on July 23, 1963, authorizing the advertise-
ment for bids for same and as specified in the bid submitted by Peter
Pirsch & Sons Company.
Said price of $9,239.00 is Net FOB, Kenosha, Wisconsin, and
the City is to deliver said aerial chassis to said location, and after
work and labor is completed thereon under the terms of this contract
the City shall return said chassis to Paducah, Kentucky. All work
is to be guaranteed for one year.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting, of
the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one (1)
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force
and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
