A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE TO THE CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION BOARD FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, A LEASE ON CERTAIN SPACE WITHIN THE MARKET HOUSE BUILDING
AT SECOND STREET AND BROADWAY IN SAID CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and they are hereby, authorized and
directed to execute, on behalf of the City, a lease to the Civic
Beautification Board for the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in
words and figures as follows:
"THIS LEASE made and entered into on this the
day of , 1963, by and between the CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, hereinafter called :Lessor", and the CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION
BOARD FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, hereinafter called "Lessee".
W I T N E S S E T H:
"THAT for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar
($1.00) per year, and subject to the hereinafter terms and con-
ditions, the Lessor does hereby lease to the Lessee certain space
within the Market House building at Second Street and Broadway in
Paducah, Kentucky, said space being what is known as a portion of
the North End of the Center Section of said building, being about
31 feet in width and extending back south 40 feet from the north
end of said section.
"The term of this lease shall be for a period of one (1)
year from November 15, 1963, provided, however, said lease shall
continue for a period of five (5) years from said date unless
terminated before said time by operation of law or by either party
hereto. Notice of termination of this lease by either party hereto
shall be given to the other party at least thirty (30) days
prior to the expiration of any annual period covered herein.
The execution of this lease by the Lessor is authorized
by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah on the day of 1963.
WITNESS the hands of the Lessor and Lessee on this the day and
year first above written.

SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
