HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 139, No Ordinance Number139 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COT,NIISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF 30TH STREET BETWEEN HARRISON AND TRIMBLE STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE-1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COWISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah-McCracken County Planning Commission on September 18, 1963, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF 30TH STREET BETWEEN HARRISON AND TRIMBLE STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2, That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2 One Family Zone to R-L•. Multiple Dwelling Zone: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 30th Street and Harrison Street; thence north with the center line of 30th Street to the center line of Trimble Street; thence east with the center line of Trimble Street 331.345 feet; thence south parallel with 30th Street to the center line of Harrison Street: thence west with the center line of Harrison Street to the beginning. SECTION 3, That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance-1961 and the Baps referred to in Section lk thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
