AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CARDINAL CARRYOR COMPANY,
INC. FOR THS SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW ELGIN CUSTOML.75 STREET
STYEEPER FOR USE BY THE DPEARTIVENT OF PUBLIS WORKS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE
SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Citv of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Cardinal Carrvor Company, Inc. in the sum of $10,050.00, less
ti900.00 for trade-in of one (1) 1953 Model L50 ['Mayne Sweeper, making
a total of $9,150.00 for the sale to the City of one (1) new Elgin
Custon L75 Street Sweeper having, specifications as set out in the
bid submitted by the said Cardinal Carryor Company, Inc.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said sweeper
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
