HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 126, No Ordinance Number126 / AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH- McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BRIDGE STREET BETWEEN K.OERNER STREET AND LEIBERMAN STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken County Planning; Commission on September 4, 1963 entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COI•'II'•IISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BRIDGE STREET BEI;IEEN KOERNER STREET AND LEIBERMAN STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting* the matters therein set .forth. SECTION 2. That the Zone classification of the folloainP property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2 One Family Zone to B-3 General Business Zone: Beginnings at a point in the .rest line of Leiberman Street 21;1..35 feet north of the north line of Bridge Street, which said point marks the intersection of the west line of Leiberman Street and the center line of a newly dedicated 14 foot alley; thence in a westerly direction along the center line of said alley 135.5 feet to the intersection of that line with the center line of a 10 foot alley; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of the last mentioned alley .03 feet; thence in a westerly direction, at an interior angle of 89 degrees 4.0 minutes 222 seconds 169 feet to the center line of Koerner Street; thence in a southerly direction along the center line of Koerner Street 47 feet to the northerly boundary of the existing B-3 zone; thence in an easterly direction along the northerly boundary of said B-3 zone, and its meanders, to the center line of Leiberman Street; thence in a northerly direction along the center line of Leiberman Street 79.6 feet, more or less; thence in a westerly direction at an interior angle of 89 degrees 40 minutes 22} seconds to the point of beginning. SECTION_3 That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps referred to in Section 14 thereof be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this Ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this Ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. 127 SECTION 5. That this ordinance shall be in full .force and effect from and after its adoption..
