"AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE WORK WEEK AND RATES OF PAY OF
EMPLOYEES OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT AND THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH" WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS ON NOVEMBER 27, 1947
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of an ordinance having the
title quoted above which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky on November 26, 1947 .be amended
and reordained so that as amended and reordained said section shall
read as follows:
"SECTION 2. That all employees of the Cemetery Department
who are employed on an hourly basis, or who may hereafter be employed
on that basis, shall work only 44 hours per week".
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after January 1, 1967.
