AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADJUSTING THE RATES OF PAY FOR CERTAIN
NON -CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH", WHICH WAS
ADOPTED ON MARCH 16, 1957, AND AMENDED ON OCTOBER 18, 1966
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the `l��

title quoted above, which was adopted on March 16, 1957, and amended
on October 19, 1966, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the monthly or hourly rate of compensation
of the .following non -civil service employees of the City of Paducah
shall be the amount set opposite the designation of such employment,
to -wit:

Temporary Clerk in Finance Office (3 positions) 225.00
Superintendent of Oak Grove Cemetery 410.00

The Clerk -typist in the Engineering Department shall be paid at
the rate of $2G5.00 per month for the first six months of employment;
at the expiration of six months ?255.00 per month; at the expiration of
one year $265.00 per month; at the expiration of two years $275.00
per month, and at the expiration of three years $285.00 per month,
such increases to he made upon recommendation of the City Manager.

The Housing Code Enforcement Officer shall be paid at the rate of
$395.00 per month for the first six months of employment, at the
expiration of six months $1:05.00 per month, and at the expiration of
one year $415.00 per month, such increases to he made upon recommendation
of the City Manaver.
The Meter Maintenance Man shall be paid at rhe rate of $2.18 per
hour for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall he ?2.23 per hour, such increase to be
made upon recommendation of the City Manaper.
The No. 2 Maintenance Man shall be paid at the rate of $2.08 per
hour for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of
six months the rate of pay shall ,be $2.13 per hour, such increases to
he made upon recommendation of the City I4anager.
The Maintenance Helper shall be paid at the rate of $1.98 per hour
for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall be �+2.03 per hour, such increase to be made
upon recommendation of the City Manager."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION_3. This ordinance shall he in full force and effect on
and after January 1, 1967.
